The founder, Goro Kikuchi founded NoboruShoukai for the purpose of molding and processing synthetic resins and the manufacture and sale of insulating materials (Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan).
NoboruShoukai incorporated and the company name was change to Tensho Electric Industries Co., Ltd.
Due to the company’s growth, and the worldwide demand for plastic products, Tensho America Corporation (San Diego City, CA, USA) and Tensho Mexico Corporation S.A. de C.V. (Rosarito City, Baja California, Mexico). Were founded.
Sanko built a 2nd State of the Art Manufacturing facility in Rosarito, Mexico, to continue expanding in the container business. Tensho America Corporation and Tensho Mexico Corporation were renamed Sanko America corporation and Sanko Plastics Mexico Corporation.
Quality should be the focus of all companies. That is why Sanko applies measures to improve manufacturing processes, quality management and design quality. Our strict quality control systems have given us the tools to achieve efficiency and to attain quality management certifications. These certifications are something we take great pride in as a manufacturing company.

Sanko is comprised of over 30 factories in Japan and 6 around the world. Sanko has learned that there are two key factors that make our industrial manufacturing work effectively: POKA-YOKE and Teamwork.

In SANKO, we analyze a situation, and find the best solution in order to produce the highest results of functionality and quality.
